1: Set up your recurring schedule.
Log into Lesson Genie, then click on your name in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Select ‘Settings.’ Select your grade level and set your daily schedule with different subjects and times. You'll need to add these subjects in order to start adding resources to your lesson plans. [Or you can do this part later and jump right into step 2 if you want!]
2: Add resources to your lesson plans.
After your schedule is set, you can begin previewing resources to add to your schedule. Click "Home" to get to your lesson plans. Then choose "browse" or "find lessons" to start searching. When you find a resource you want, click "Add to Schedule."
Then, you can adjust the date to when you want to start the lessons. Select or deselect each lesson you want to include in the unit. Click SAVE and the lessons in the unit will be added to your schedule starting on the date you selected. It’s pretty amazing!
3: Download your resources
Now you can download all of your resources for a whole week with one click! To download the resources for the week, click the pink DOWNLOAD button.
From here, you can download into folders for each day of the week or you can download the week’s resources by subject folders. You can also select which subjects you would like to download. You can even choose to combine everything into one PDF for easy printing.
After clicking the pink DOWNLOAD button, these resources will be added to your download folder on your device.
You can also choose to download individual lessons if needed. To do this, select the three dots at the top of the lesson box, and select DOWNLOAD LESSON MATERIALS. These will be downloaded to your download’s folder on your device.
